About the farm and producer

Jaguara Coffee is a coffee collective, group of family farms, and green coffee exporter based in Varginha, Brazil. This coffee was produced on Santa Lucia, one of their oldest family farms! Santa Lucia is owned by Alexandre Garcia and operated by the Garcia family and several long-time farm workers who care for the farm on a daily basis. The 120 hectare farm is located in a part of Três Corações called Serra das Abelhas (Mountain of the Bees) because of the sweet and honey-like flavor of coffee harvested here. One cool fact about Santa Lucia is that all of the energy needed to power the farm facilities and wet mill are produced by solar panels on site!
